This is Max the Monkey and he is headed for the cot/pram/floor of a brand new baby boy.
He is sitting on a simple striped quilt design with a bit of soft polar fleece on his ears and face for little baby hands to stroke.
This was an easy quilt to make with minimal piecing and a fairly straight forward applique. The binding was cut on the bias to allow a smooth curve on the rounded corners. I am hoping to make a few more of these little baby quilts using different colours and animals in coming months.
